Together with eye dominance, gun fitting is the most important part of being a successful shotgunner. It doesn’t matter if you are a hunter or a clay shooter, a shotgun has to be fitted to each person. Gun fitting is an art and only a few people are skilled to do a proper job. We’ve had some friends and customers fly from other states or from abroad to get their gun fit checked and adjusted by Nick.
A gun fitting session usually requires between 45 to 90 minutes depending on the gun stock and the initial way it fits the shooter. It usually happens at a shooting ground in order to test the gun once it is fitted. It is frequently said that you should check your gun fit for every 5 lb. you lose or gain.
