Rock Creek Ranch: Instruction

We are fortunate to have three highly skilled coaches and instructors at Rock Creek Ranch. Combining years of experience on the field, head coach Nick, club manager Dylan and up and coming Ethan will work on your technical and mental games and allow any level hunter or shooter to improve and reach new heights. We are pleased to have Nick Berry as the Sporting Clays Head Coach at Rock Creek Ranch.  Nick is one of the top NSCA Master Class shooters in the country, multiple time NSCA Western Region Team Member, 2-time Ducks Unlimited Champion, 2022 California State Champion and FITASC Champion, 2022 Nationals FITASC Champion and 2023 Team USA member.  Nick is a National Sporting Clays Association (NSCA) Instructor who takes great pride in seeing his students excel and achieve their personal shooting and mental goals, whether they are novice, intermediate or advanced shooters.  Additionally, having received formal training in Europe (France and United Kingdom), Nick is a capable and sought after gunfitter.  He will be happy to properly fit your gun to you.  It is only with a properly fitted gun that you can realize your true potential as a shooter both on the sporting clays course and in the field bird hunting.  As an enthusiastic and accomplished bird hunter, Nick is keen on assisting students master the “art and science” of shooting Chukars, Quails, Pheasants or Waterfowl.

Weekend rate: $250.00 / hour + target fees, 2 hours minimum (one student)

Weekday rate: $200.00 / hour + target fees, 2 hours minimum (one student)

Born and raised in Idaho, Dylan Swafford has been shooting sporting clays competitively for a decades. As a Master class shooter, Dylan started working for Little Trapper as Range Manager and Associate Coach at Rock Creek Ranch. We are fortunate to have him in our team and excited for the future.

Rate: $125.00 / hour + target fees, 2 hours minimum (one student)

Ethan was born in France and grew up between California and Idaho.  He began competing in sporting clays at the age of 9 and flew through the classes to become one of the youngest Master class shooters in the country. Since the beginning, Ethan learned the different techniques and the mental game from his dad and traveled the World to compete in the biggest sporting clay events. He is now one of the best sub junior competitors in the country and one of the most promising shooters.

Rate: $100.00 / hour + target fees, 2 hours minimum (one student)
